This storyboard application offers a range of features designed to support various creative workflows. Its interface is organized into three primary modes, each tailored to specific stages of the storyboard creation process.

First View

• Provides a storyboard-style editing environment where users can input characters via writing and specify durations in seconds.
• Includes a drawing function reminiscent of traditional Japanese storyboarding, allowing freehand sketches from the point of the cut.
• Supports text entry and editing through keyboard input, with convenient copy-and-paste options.
• Features a stopwatch tool for precise duration specification, either manual entry or direct input.
• Allows customizable drawing sizes with support for pan, zoom, and large-format outputs; these size adjustments are preserved when exporting to PDF.
• Enables comprehensive editing of individual cuts, including reordering, deletion, insertion, and duplication, akin to smartphone interface gestures.
• Offers a cut concatenation feature that recognizes and merges identical cuts automatically, streamlining the editing process.

Second View

• Equipped with a versatile toolbar offering multiple pen styles, colors, opacities, and an eraser tool.
• Includes hand tools for moving and scaling sketches through tap-and-mate or pinch gestures.
• Provides standard layer management functions such as visibility toggling, reordering, and deletion;
• Allows users to select multiple layers simultaneously for combined move and scale operations in conjunction with hand tools.
• Supports image import directly from the Photos app for integrated visual referencing.

Third View

• Features a full-screen mode with video playback capabilities.
• Enables switching between camera capture and full drawing modes with layer management integration.
• Supports pinch gestures for zooming in and out of the workspace.
• Includes output options for generating Japanese-style storyboard PDFs, individual cut PDFs, or MP4 video files. The total duration is calculated automatically during PDF export.
• Supports various aspect ratios such as 4:3, 16:9, 1.85:1, and 2.35:1, as well as selectable frame rates of 24 fps and 30 fps.
• Offers customization for dialogue placement, G-position switching, and serial number assignment per scene or part, facilitating detailed story planning.

Version 1.5 Updates

• The user interface has been optimized for smoother operation; brush opacity handling has been adjusted to reduce delays when opacity is set close to 0. The recommended setting is near 100% opacity for optimal performance.
• The behavior of the Back button from the edit screen has been modified to ensure data is saved before navigation, preventing potential data loss but suspending navigation until saving completes.
• The transition process to the edit screen has been stabilized for more reliable navigation.
• A bug affecting video duplication—resulting in blank videos—is rectified to ensure successful cloning workflows.
• Minor issues encountered during video export or cancellation have been addressed to improve stability and safety during operations.
